Clear commercial labeling
Sponsored Content Policy
Readers should be able to identify a commercial relationship before it influences how they interpret a page.
Labels appear before the message
Paid articles are labeled “Sponsored” or “Paid partnership” near the headline. Short commercial modules use labels such as “Partner message.” Affiliate links are identified when the publication may earn compensation from a purchase.
Editorial coverage is not for sale
A sponsor cannot purchase an independent review, choose its conclusion, suppress a material limitation or require the removal of accurate reporting. Commercial support never guarantees future editorial coverage.
Accuracy and substantiation
Sponsored claims must be specific, supportable and consistent with applicable advertising rules. The Camera Post may request documentation, revise unclear language or decline work that would mislead readers.
Image rights and manipulation
Commercial partners must have the right to provide every image, logo and video. Significant manipulation and synthetic imagery must be disclosed when their use could change a reader’s understanding of the product or scene.
Ownership disclosure
SZ Filters is our sole site sponsor and shares ownership with The Camera Post. This relationship is disclosed at the end of every article. Our weekly Wednesday SZ Filters articles are also labeled sponsored near the headline. Any historical article-specific support from SZ Cases remains disclosed separately; it is not a current site-wide sponsorship.
Corrections and contact
Material errors in sponsored content are corrected under the same public corrections process as editorial work. Questions about a label or relationship may be sent to news@thecamerapost.com.
