The Camera Post

Privacy notice

Last updated September 19, 2026

This notice explains how The Camera Post handles information from the website, its audience analytics and the newsletter form.

Newsletter information

When you submit the newsletter form, your email address, language preference, consent status and the page where you subscribed are sent directly to Klaviyo, our email service provider. A successful submission activates the subscription and triggers a welcome email. We use this information only for The Camera Post editorial newsletters and essential subscription messages. We do not sell or rent subscriber information.

Audience analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 in advanced consent mode. Before or after a declined choice, Google receives limited measurement signals without analytics cookies; those signals may include the page, referrer, timestamp, browser information and consent state. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may use cookies and additional identifiers to measure visits, popular pages, approximate region, device and browser type, referrals and selected site interactions. We never send newsletter email addresses to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad-personalization signals remain disabled.

Analytics choices

You can decline optional analytics storage or change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining prevents analytics cookies, but does not block the limited cookieless signals described above. Google may process analytics data according to its own privacy terms.

Storage and retention

Newsletter subscriptions are stored in Klaviyo until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained within the settings of our Google Analytics property.

Your choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request access to or deletion of your newsletter information by emailing news@thecamerapost.com. Analytics choices can be reopened from the footer on any page.
