How we report
Editorial Policy
Accuracy, visual relevance and transparent sourcing guide every story published by The Camera Post.
Sources and verification
We prioritize official manufacturer announcements, product pages, original documents, public archives and named primary sources. Reporting distinguishes confirmed facts, manufacturer claims, estimates and rumors. Important claims are linked to the underlying source whenever possible.
Prices and availability
Product coverage identifies the announced or expected U.S. price, launch date and availability status when that information exists. Prices may change by market, configuration, tax and stock; the article date provides the reader with the context needed to interpret them.
Image standards
Every image must relate directly to the product, brand, photographer or subject being discussed. Product stories favor official press imagery. Archival photographs include creator, collection and rights information. Illustrative stock is labeled clearly and is never presented as the unreleased product itself.
Artificial intelligence and editorial automation
We do not use AI-generated photographs as documentary evidence or as substitutes for real product photography. Editorial automation may assist research organization, drafting, formatting and production. Before publication, claims, dates, prices, links, captions and image rights are checked against the cited source material. Readers can inspect those sources and use our public corrections channel when something needs attention.
Commercial relationships
SZ Filters is the sole site sponsor of The Camera Post. The Camera Post and SZ Filters share ownership. Our weekly Wednesday SZ Filters feature is labeled sponsored near the headline; other reporting remains editorially independent. Historical article-specific support from SZ Cases remains disclosed and does not make it a current site sponsor. Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate links are labeled; commercial relationships do not alter editorial conclusions, and paid support never guarantees favorable coverage. A relevant partner message may accompany an article, but it is visually separated from the reporting.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors are corrected promptly and significant changes are disclosed. Product stories may be updated when price, release or availability information becomes clearer. See the corrections page for the reporting channel.
